Day 2: Exploring Bentonville

Nathan tried out the hard, plastic seats in the back. He said they were uncomfortable.
Officer Wootten (aka Stephanie, Marci's roomate) gave Papi an authentic interrogation experience.
Bracken was bouncing off the walls with excitement so we figured he was the perfect volunteer to try out the holding cell.
Everyone at the Bentonville Police Department was so nice and loved showing us around. The boys were given several little souvenirs which tickled them to pieces. It was great to see where Tia Marci works and see how much she loves her job.
We really lucked out when one of the bomb squad officers offered to give us a tour of the bomb squad department, which was an old firehouse turned bomb equipment warehouse.
This black trailer can contain a bomb while it safely (fingers crossed) detonates if the team can't diffuse it first, crazy! It's an insanely expensive piece of equipment and it can only be used once. Luckily, they've never had to test out it's ability yet.

The scuba team keeps their trailer of gear at the bomb department. Bracken was fascinated with the big, heavy air tanks.
Nathan had a constant stream of question for the kind and very patient bomb squad officer.
