Early Christmas For Me!

Curtis floored me when he suggested we get new couches for Christmas!  We knew what we wanted so we checked our calendar, picked a weekend and headed down to IKEA to take the plunge.  

Since we decided to take the kids with us we could only fit the love seat in our van, amazingly enough.  We had to do a little switching around to accomodate our party of 5 and a couch.  I ended up comfy and cozy in the way back with Nathan.  

We stopped at Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and then before hitting the road for home we visited the Christmas lights at the Mesa Temple.

It was a great weekend!

Yavapai College Honors Holiday Ball

Curtis surprised me with tickets to a Holiday Ball sponsored by the Yavapai College Honors Program.  It was fun to dress up and have a night on the town.  We hob nobbed with high brow folks, ate some delicious food and danced to the live band

Thankful Things

November 2012

This year we enjoyed a Kleinman family Thanksgiving complete with family fun and all the delicious trimmings a thankful feast could wish for.

Nathan's first school project was decorating a turkey picture any which he wanted.  He had fun collecting his autumn leaves and painting his turkey "feathers" aka cut up toilet paper rolls.  He even found one real pigeon feather that he insisted be included in the masterpiece.

A few days after Thanksgiving we gathered with the Kleinman clan for a rousing game of bowling!  At first Bracken was standoffish, but gradually he warmed up to the idea and then there was no stopping him.  He didn't want to wait for the other players to bowl their frames.  Nathan loves bowling and he played well getting several strikes!

8 Months Old

Not much has changed this last month.  Marco still hasn't started crawling but we are betting it will happen any day now.  He has started pulling himself up to furniture and thinks he is BIG stuff!  

Playing With Brack

Bracky loves to play and he is good at it.  He loves all kinds of toys, figurines, cars, motos, airplanes, and especially guys that drive/ride said vehicles.  Bracky likes to collect toys.  When he starts playing he has a couple of toys.  Then as he plays he acquires more and more toys, which he usually lines up on the sofa.  He makes things look so fun that naturally Nathan and Marco are drawn to the magic Bracken creates.  But they have to do some quick talking or taking to get Bracken to share one of his toys.  At least once a day I remind Bracken that he only has 2 hands so he can afford to share a few of the many he has gathered since he can't possibly play with them all at once.

Bracken adores play dough, or as he calls it "play play play dough".  He can sculpt and create with the best of them.  He really likes to make me food, that he "feeds" to me.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday after I get Curtis and Nathan out the door the little ones and I pack up and head across the street to our Chapel for Mommy to excercise!

Liberty Day Celebration

Nathan was super excited for his first school program.  This was a patriotic program and the cute little Kindergarten classes sang "Grand Ol' Flag" complete with hand/dance moves!

Fall Piano Recital

Nathan played in his first piano recital!  He played Up On The Housetop and he did really good. 

Giggles And Grins

One afternoon Nathan and Bracken were being silly and throwing stuffed animals around the living room.  Marco was enthralled and eventually started giggling up a storm!

Marco's new trick is pulling up to furniture!  When he starts crawling he'll have a whole new world to explore!

Since Halloween night was crazy for me I didn't get pictures.  So I dressed the kids up a few days later to document their award winning get ups!  Taking pictures of all 3 boys together rarely goes smoothly.  There were so many cute shots I couldn't decided what to share so here they all are!
