We just love our little Bracky! His cheeks are so plump and soft that I can't help myself. They get kissed a lot. He is super happy and smiles, smiles, smiles. Bracken loves to be doing what Nathan is doing. He lays on the pillow next to Nate for the bedtime/naptime story, sits next to him on the couch while Nate watches a show, reaches out to touch Nathan when he is close by, and lives for the times when Nathan plays with him. Today at lunch Nathan was talking to me while I was holding Bracken (who was not happy unless he was facing Nathan) and Bracken just started cracking up. Bracken was watching Nathan, thus why he insisted on being held in a way that allowed him to see Nathan. Nathan is a very animated talker so whether it was his facial expressions or tone of voice Bracken liked it. And Nathan loved making him laugh.

Food!
We have officially experienced the goodness that is rice cereal. And Bracken is a fan most of the time. He loves playing with the spoon and sippy cup at family meals, but actually eating his food is hit or miss. He doesn't seem to mind the taste or tecture, it just depends on if he is in the mood to swallow or not.

"My birthday is here, right now?"
Here is a closeup of his "cake" which Nate and I had a blast making together. The big ones are regular cupcakes but the tiny red ones are cupcake bites, and believe me they are dangerous. I don't think I can ever eat a regular ol' cupcake again. Check them out here
you'll see what I mean.

Snow or Slush?
As you can see we really didn't have much snow. This particular snow fall was so wet (it was preceded by a ton of rain) that the minute you touched it, stepped on it, or sledded down it, it turned to slush. But because the ground was so wet, the sledding still worked out. It was like ice blocking but without the ice. As you can see from the picture Curtis literally wrung out his gloves a couple of times. But Nathan still had a blast, his favorite was going down "skater" style as he called it. Standing up with Curtis and boarding down the hill.

What do we do on Sunday evening?
....Play Hide and Seak!
For a couple of weeks Nathan was really into playing hide and seak, it was his thing. And since he is so young and innocent he thinks that if he can't see you, then you can't see him. It is adorable! Curtis and I just love pretending that we don't actually know where he is hiding in plain view. The best part is Nathan's squeals and giggles. In this video Nathan is hiding in our closet so it is too dark for the camera to get any real footage but you can hear his squeals.
