About Me

My photo
Our adventure started on a beautiful June day in 2004. Fast forward 12 years and now we are the proud parents of 3 active, beautiful boys. Nathan, Bracken, and Marco. We call Prescott Valley, Arizona home and are constantly reminded that there is never enough time to accomplish and experience everything we think we want. Life with a young family is precious and simplicity is our ongoing quest.

Spring Break in Idaho

For our spring break we headed up to Utah/Idaho to visit family. The boys did great on the drive, they are troopers to put up with a 10 hour stint in the car.

Nate cruisin down Hwy 89 in style.

While in Utah we stopped in at the Church History Museaum (which is really cool) with Andy, Bekah, Ava and Jaxon so the kids could check out the incredible I Am A Child of God exhibit. For Nathan the best parts were driving little cars through a maze to get to church and of course the bean bag toss game, because he loves to throw things. We ate at the Red Iguana 2, which is seriously good food. It may just become a tradition to eat there when we are in town. Nathan's ultimate favorite thing was getting to ride on the Trax (commuter train) but I don't have a picture, because I didn't send the camera with Curtis. Maybe next time.

In Idaho we enjoyed a snow free, quaint little Malad. Nathan loved playing in the yard because it has tons of grass, family football games are a blast. He rode his razor scooter all over the neighborhood, walked to a little park with Aubrey, waited for Aubrey to get off the bus afterschool, and shot Marci's airsoft gun at a cardboard box. Heaven. Other highlights were seeing my sister Chelsea and her new baby James, experiencing the Malad Drive In (my new weekness: black raspberry shake), seeing Kendal run in his first track meet, and smelling that sweet fresh mountain Idaho air.
