I spent my day emptying and cleaning out our freezer, because we needed it for the ward ice cream social that evening. How else can you keep ice cream from melting in Arizona in July? Curtis hauled it over to the ramada behind our building and ran extension cords to get it power and it worked like a dream. It wasn't my perfect Fourth of July activity, but it was satisfying to get it done. Nothing like a deadline to make something happen.
Other than that, we enjoyed the usual Fourth of July festivities. Some yummy BBQ, friends, ice cream, glow sticks (a must tradition), fireworks cookies (Oreo's) and fireworks!
