Cultural Celebration Super Saturday Practice

Participating in the cultural celebration was a HUGE time commitment but an even BIGGER blessing. At first I was given the assignment of Ward Costume Specialist. I worked with an army of women in our stake to sew 200+ pioneer skirts and organize and distribute the costumes for our stake. Then later Curtis and I were asked to be Captains of 10 for youth in our ward. We spent many activity nights practicing dances, Sunday evenings in informational firesides, and entire Saturdays schoeffering our youth to various regional and district practices. It was beastly! But being together through the entire experience was extremely special for us. Grandma Kleinman pulled for like a champ and covered all of our child care needs.
