Mark Shelley, a coworker at Yavapai College and Curtis's bike riding buddy. They rode their bikes from our home in Prescott Valley to Arcosanti the day before and slept in a very interesting and strange hotel. Then the next morning they rode the rest of the way down I-17 to a chapel a few blocks from the Phoenix Temple where we met up with them. They had more than their fair share of flat tires and probably a few close calls, but they made it and enjoyed their accomplishment.
